    • Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How does the sitter help to take care of my pets when I am out of town?

Answer: Our specially-trained sitters can walk, brush, feed and play with your pets while you're away from home. At our free meet and greet session, the pet sitter will ask about your pet's habits and make sure that they stick to the regular routine as closely as possible to give your pets the greatest comfort.

Question: Pet sitters of Senior CID are retired senior citizens. Are they capable to provide pet sitting services?

Answer: Our pet sitters are active retired citizens as well as animal-lovers. They have undergone a training programme designed by Senior CID and the SPCA. It includes pet healthcare and animal behavior workshops conducted by vet nurses and dog trainers. All our pet sitters have also had over 20 hours of volunteer experience at local animal shelters, working with a wide array of animals of differed breeds and personalities. While many pet sitters in the market are experienced pet owners, few have the training that our sitters do. In addition, our senior citizen pet sitters have a more flexible schedule to accompany your pet whenever needed.

Question: How do I know if my pet can get along with the pet sitter?

Answer: We offer a free meet and greet session for you to meet the pet sitter at your home before confirming service. This provides the opportunity for both you and the sitter to see how they get along with your pet and decide whether or not to go ahead with the service.

Question: What if my pet gets sick or injured?

Answer: Before we begin service, we will ask you about your pet's health condition and what vet you usually see. Our sitter will notify you immediately if your pet gets sick or injured during service. If they are unable to reach you, they may bring your pet to the vet you recommended. You will be responsible for all charges incurred at the vet.

Question: Do you provide pet boarding services?

Answer: Sorry, we do not provide pet boarding service at this moment. Please contact us if you have any queries.
